In addition to international events, we aim to connect the local LGBT sporting and cultural communities into a vibrant network for the benefit of all, not only on the international stage, but at home in our city, province and nation as well. Mirateca Arts
MIRATECA produces, promotes and presents artists and shows of all disciplines. From music concerts, dance, theatre, artistic night-club events, galas, festivals to contests amongst other theatrical events.
Badminton
Absolutely Badminton
Absolutely Badminton plays in the winter from September to May at King George High School on Denman Street in downtown Vancouver, on Wednesdays 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
Cheerleading
Midnight Supernovas
The Midnight Supernovas are a new Open Elite Cheer Team running out of Midnight Cheer Athletics. Founded by Troy LeTendre and Karen Fraser in May 2009, the Midnight Supernovas are operating as a drop-in adult stunting class for the summer but will be hosting try-outs for a competitive team early in September. The team is currently comprised of some of the top cheerleaders from all over the city as well as many strong gymnasts.
Curling
Pacific Rim Curling League
The Pacific Rim Curling League is an all-inclusive league open to curlers of all skill level. From late September to the end of March, the League curls on Sunday afternoons and Monday evenings at the Vancouver Curling Club.
Cycling
LGBT Cycling Club
LGBT Cycling is a new cycling club that aims to bring together lgbt cyclists for regular weekly rides of about 30 to 50 km. Plans are underway to organize weekend trips to the local islands, short rides during the long summer evenings, and long afternoon rides around the Greater Vancouver area.
Dance
Not So Strictly Ballroom
The goal of Not So Strictly Ballroom is to create a community of social dancers in the gay and lesbian community. We offer dance lessons to singles and couples, and hold classes in both the West end and East End of Vancouver.
Dragon Boating
Sisters in Sync
Vancouver is home to Canada's first lesbian dragon boat team, Sisters in Sync. This successful team (silver medalists at the 2007 Alcan Dragon Boat Festival) is recruiting new paddlers. We offer the opportunity to learn a new sport, increase your fitness level, participate in exciting and friendly competition...and all this in an out, loud and proud lesbian environment.

Out & About Vancouver
Out and About are a group of about 150 gay men in the Greater Vancouver area who enjoy the great outdoors. Our outdoor activities include hiking, walking, cycling, kayaking, camping and more—whatever is of interest to our members. Most of our events are local, but sometimes we travel around a bit. We get together for social gatherings throughout the year—anything from a barbecue to a night at the opera.

Vancouver Front Runners provides a safe and comfortable environment for gay men, lesbians and friends to enjoy running and camaraderie. We also support an environment that challenges front runners to achieve their running goals and exceed their personal bests.

Out For Kicks
Out for Kicks is a downtown-based soccer club with more than 100 members. Our mandate is to facilitate a safe, fun and recreational environment for gay men, lesbians and their gay-friendly team mates to enjoy the game of soccer.

Mabel League
The Mabel League is the largest Women's C Division Fastpitch league in Western Canada. We are a lesbian league which fosters a safe & fun environment for lesbians, bisexual and heterosexual women, transgender, and transsexual people to play recreational softball.
West End Slo-Pitch Association
WESA provides opportunities for individuals to play amateur slo-pitch softball in an atmosphere of friendly competition, free of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, race, creed, gender and ability.

English Bay Swim Club
The English Bay Swim Club is Vancouver's gay & lesbian Masters swim team. We are all-inclusive, welcoming gay and gay-friendly swimmers into the pool since 1982.

The Vancouver Tennis Association is a non-profit tennis organization which fosters and promotes goodwill, fellowship, and healthy competition among tennis players in the gay and lesbian community.

English Bay Triathlon Club

The Vancouver Gay Volleyball Association is a provincially registered non-profit society and one of the longest operating volunteer organized sports groups in the Lower Mainland.
