Team Vancouver promotes LGBT sport and culture in Vancouver, Canada and on the world stage by acting as a resource for information dissemination and coordination of athletes and cultural participants attending the two major world multi-sport events, the Gay Games and the Outgames.

It is an umbrella organization of 25 different sport clubs. In addition to these international events, Team Vancouver aims to unite the LGBT sport and cultural community into a vibrant organization for the benefit of each and everyone of us, not only on the international stage but at home in our city, province and nation as well.




 

What's New At Team Vancouver

Team Vancouver is proud to welcome our newest Associate, Sisters in Sync. Canada's first lesbian dragon boat team, this successful team were silver medalists at the 2007 Alcan Dragon Boat Festival. They offer the opportunity to learn a new sport, increase your fitness level, participate in exciting and friendly competition...and all this in an out, loud and proud lesbian environment.
